<p>Ms. Monique Lisa Banks, beloved daughter of Carla L. Banks, and the late James (Brother) Hogg, Jr. was</p><p>born on February 22, 1983. As a small child Monique was nicknamed “Motor” because she was so</p><p>energetic with a warm smile and big heart. Monique never met a stranger.</p><p><br></p><p>She attended Prince George’s County, Maryland Public Schools until her family moved to Washington,</p><p>DC where she later graduated from Ballou High School.</p><p><br></p><p>Monique enjoyed dancing, bicycle riding, cooking, and was a Washington Redskins fan, however,</p><p>spending time with her family was one of her favored things to do especially taking care of her two</p><p>young daughters.</p><p><br></p><p>After a lengthy illness, Monique gained her heavenly wings on May 17, 2023, at Bridgepoint Hospital,</p><p>Washington, D.C.</p><p><br></p><p>Monique was preceded in death by her loving father, James (Brother) Hogg, Jr. &amp; two nieces, Legacy and</p><p>Mila Banks.</p><p><br></p><p>She leaves to cherish the memory of her life, her mother, Carla L. Banks, daughters, Marquisia and</p><p>Shamiyah Banks, sisters, Lacqecia Hogg, Wasecka Hogg, Tennille Hogg, Tunisia McDonald (Mathew)</p><p>brothers, Mark Banks (Monique), and Charles Banks. Her aunts, Mary Butler, Cecilia Wilkerson, Gail</p><p>Hogg, Carolyn Simmons, Crystal Miller, Tracy Banks. Uncles, Gerald Hogg, Wayne Johnson, Lawrence</p><p>Banks, Anthony Banks, and Maurice Banks. Ms. Monique Lisa Banks, beloved daughter of Carla L. Banks, and the late James (Brother) Hogg, Jr. was
