Susan K. Midthun, age 53, of Wisconsin Rapids, WI passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, May 22, 2023 surrounded by family in Wisconsin Rapids.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Rev. Steven Weller will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the funeral home.

Susan was born on December 10, 1969 to George and Delores (Luebeck) Davis in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She married Leonard Midthun on September 27, 1997 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Susan received her associates degree in civil engineering from Mid-State Technical College and was an engineering technician for the City of Wisconsin Rapids. Susan loved to sew, crochet, cross stitch and create many other crafts. She also enjoyed wood working, gardening, and working outdoors. Susan’s smile, and kindness for everyone she knew will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Susan is survived by her husband and best friend, Len; son, Alex (Jess) Midthun; siblings, John (Suzan) Davis, Mike (Sharon) Davis, David Davis, Jen Hill, Fran Renner, Patrick (Brenda) Davis, and Helen Davis; as well as many nieces and nephews. She is further survived by Ken (Tina) Midthun, Ben Midthun, Carol (Jerry) Priebe, and Robbie Davis.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charlie E. Davis; and brothers-in-law, Ben Renner, and Don Hill.
