Tanesha Edwards 49 of Abilene passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9-11am on Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 11:00 am at North's Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Abilene Municipal Cemetery. <br />Tanesha was born on October 21, 1973 in Abilene, Texas to the late Mathew L. Edwards and Rosie Nell Tutt-Edwards. She received her primary education from Abilene Public schools graduating from Abilene High School in 1995. While she enjoyed watching the Dallas cowboys she let it be known that she was a die heart Eagle from the heart. She and mother never missed an Abilene game.<br />Tanesha came to Christ and Joined Mt. Zion 1st Baptist Church at an early age. She attended Church faithfully with her mother and Aunt Dovie until they passed and she herself could no longer attend due to her health. She thoroughly enjoyed praising and worshipping God and attending church.<br />She loved life and she loved her family especially her brother Wayne. Her eyes would just light up at the mention of his name. She loved music and dancing (her favorite artist was Michael Jackson) her most favorite meal was a cheeseburger and coke.<br />Tanesha was preceded in death by her parents Matthew L. and Rosie Nell Tutt - Edwards, her sister Tracey Beal Glover, Dovie M. Woodard Culpper, Grand Parents Tom and Lilly Tutt, Uncles and Aunts from both sides of the family.<br />Left to cherish her memories are brother: Barry Wayne Edwards of the Philippines, beloved and devoted sister-love Nancy Tutt of Abilene, Nieces: Brandi Sanders Abilene, Nicole Tutt of Houston, Texas , Nephews: Isaiah Tutt of Abilene, Justin Cody Sanders of Merkel, Special Brother-cousins; Steven K. Woodard of Dallas Texas and Carlos Woodard of Abilene Texas, Aunts: Gracie Rogers, Marilyn Williams, Barbara Adams, Uncle: Aaron Adams all from Meridian Mississippi and dear Aunts: Amy Mae Tutt of Merkel Tx. And Callie M. Tutt of Abilene Tx. nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a super host of cousins and other relatives who loved dearly.
