<p>Danny Patrick Cooper, 64, of Bartonville passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at his residence with his family surrounding him.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born May 3, 1959, in Jamestown, TN to Casto and Roxie Delk Cooper. His parents and brothers, BD Cooper, James Cooper, and Randy Cooper preceded him in death.</p><p><br></p><p>He married Lorrie DeGood his high school sweetheart September 20, 1985.</p><p><br></p><p>He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lorrie Cooper of Bartonville; son, Nick Cooper of Bartonville; granddaughter, Lilly Cooper of Bartonville; brother, Reace (Vicki) Cooper of Peoria; sisters, Hallie (Bill) Duvall of Ohio, Sue Huff of Tennessee and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.</p><p><br></p><p>Danny worked for Painters Union Local 30.</p><p><br></p><p>In his free time Danny enjoyed spending time with his granddaughter, being outdoors, trips to the Ozarks and being with family and friends. He attended Northwoods Community Church. His presence will forever be missed by many.</p><p><br></p><p>Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the American Legion 4501 S. Airport Road, Bartonville, IL 61607.</p><p><br></p><p>Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in his name.</p><p><br></p><p>The Cremation Society of Mid-Illinois Co.
