He is survived by his loving wife, of almost 23 years Eilona, one son, Jody two brothers, Larry and Craig, Three grandchildren, Michelle, Ethan and Devon and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his eldest son Lindsay and by his sister Beverly (Derek).
Russell held many interesting jobs but his favorite times were spend hunting, fishing and farming. He and his wife ran a "meat shop" for a number of years. "He" enjoyed it very much. Community was very important to Russ and he played a large part in upgrading the Hoyt Fall Fair Hall as well as being Project Manager for the Tri County Complex. He always made himself available to help neighbors and friends.
Russ and Eilona enjoyed exploring many countries around the world, sometimes with close friends, he also loved going to Grand Manan in the summer for a relaxing get a way.
Many thanks to the staff of White Rapids Manor for their care and kindness, they were wonderful., And many thanks to family, friends who always gave us both so much support.
