<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; James E. “Jim Bob” Myers, 94, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at SMP Health-Ave Maria, Jamestown, North Dakota. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; James E. Myers was born March 12, 1929 in Dunmore, Pennsylvania to Sherman and Dora (Hannon) Myers.&nbsp; He was raised as an orphan.&nbsp; James graduated from high school before serving in the US Marine Corps.&nbsp; James was honorably discharged and was a wartime veteran. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; James made his home in North Dakota since 1970.&nbsp; He was employed in Human Services Department as an addiction counselor at the North Dakota State Hospital.&nbsp; He retired as a social worker for the ND Veterans Home in Lisbon, North Dakota. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; James was a widower for many years.&nbsp; He is survived by a son and grandson.&nbsp; James loved his hometown of Jamestown. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 1, 2023 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown, North Dakota.&nbsp; Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. </p><p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Eddy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.&nbsp; </p>

     James E. “Jim Bob” Myers, 94, Jamestown, North Dakota passed away Monday, May 22, 2023 at SMP Health-Ave Maria, Jamestown, North Dakota.

     James E. Myers was born March 12, 1929 in Dunmore, Pennsylvania to Sherman and Dora (Hannon) Myers.  He was raised as an orphan.  James graduated from high school before serving in the US Marine Corps.  James was honorably discharged and was a wartime veteran.

     James made his home in North Dakota since 1970.  He was employed in Human Services Department as an addiction counselor at the North Dakota State Hospital.  He retired as a social worker for the ND Veterans Home in Lisbon, North Dakota.

     James was a widower for many years.  He is survived by a son and grandson.  James loved his hometown of Jamestown.
