Patricia H Eckert, of St. Petersburg, died Monday, May 22, 2023. She was born May 4 1934 to Harold and Dorothy Holben in Allentown, Pa., and the widow of Dr. Donald H. Eckert Two brothers preceded her in death......Richard A Holben and Michael L. Holben plus her parents and infant daughter.

She was a graduate of Cedar Crest College 1955 Allentown, Pa. and had post graduate studies at USF St. Petersburg. Mrs. Eckert taught school at Washington School, Allentown, Pa. until 1969 when the family moved to Pass-grille, Fl. Dr. Eckert was the founding pastor of Hope Church Allentown. Dr. Eckert became the pastor of Pass-a-grille Beach Community Church and Pat taught at North Shore Elementary until her retirement in 1996.

She is survived by 4 children: Christopher (Laura)Ponce Inlet, Fl. -Peter (Debra)-St Petersburg; Stephanie Goforth (Del) Gulfport and Andrew-(Sondra)Dawsonville, Georgia 8 Grandchildren: Jeffrey (Lauren) Ormond Beach Fl. -Shelley - Ponce Inlet, Fl. -Elizabeth - St Petersburg, Fl. Kaylyn Haemmelmann (Kevin) - St. Petersburg - Kristen -{Benjamin Robinson)St. Pete- Alexander Goforth -St. Petersburg, Sarah Eckert- St Petersburg, FL and Zachary Eckert- Dawsonville, Ga. 5 Great Grandchildren: Jeremiah, Jonathan,& Jude Eckert and Addison & Autumn Haemmelmann. In Allentown, PA, Sister-in law Barbara R Holben and beloved nieces and nephews. -Allentown, Pa. She was a member of the Museum of Fine Arts, Florida Orchestra Guild,. and First Presbyterian Church.

 Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 26 at First Presbyterian Church, 701 Beach Drive NE, St. Petersburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Museum of Fine Arts, Florida Orchestra, or Fist Presbyterian Church.
