Nancy Carol Bowling
<p>It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce that Nancy Carol Hazen Bowling, age 80, of, Eagle Rock, Virginia passed gracefully from this life into eternal joy and worship on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 1:00PM</p><p><br></p><p>She was born September 29, 1942 in Alleghany County, Virginia to the late Charles Alfred Hazen and Martha Helmich Hazen. She was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant for the former Liberty House Nursing Home.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Melvin Bowling; a daughter, Martha Ann Mitchell; and a son, Dwayne Allen Clark.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by four children, Eugene Clark, Gary Clark, Lana Fridley and William Bowling (Suzie). She adored her 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. </p><p><br></p><p>A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at 2:00PM in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Covington with Pastor J.B Broughman officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Pallbearers will be Greg Chesnut, Corey Clark, Joe Clark, Dennis Maggi, James Bowling and Josh Tucker. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 3:30 until 6:30PM at 1116 Ingalls Street, Clifton Forge. </p><p><br></p>Obituary
