Patricia Anne Taft, age 57, of Thurston, NY, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Robert Packer Hospital. She was born in Corning, NY to Ronald and Pauline (Stewart) Arnold on August 2, 1965. She graduated from Campbell Central School in 1984. She married John Wesley Taft on July 5, 1986 in Campbell, NY. She was a stay at home mom to their three children.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and dogs, she even bred miniature dachshunds. She loved cruising the Caribbean and creating her many crafts.

Patricia is survived by her husband John Taft, children, Ashley (Derrick) Dawson, Amber (Dennis) Jones, and Christopher (Ashley) Taft, her mother, Pauline (Irvin) Fenner, sister Rowena Huff, brothers, Aaron (Pat) Arnold, Kevin (Vicki) Arnold and Aric (Colleen) Arnold, as well as step brothers, Irvin Fenner, Terry (Janet) Fenner, and Todd (Kimbar) Fenner, stepsister, Kim (Murray) Segar, grandchildren, Emily, Bailey, Holleigh, Keeley, Trenton, Wesley, Ezekiel, Noraleigh, Coraleigh, and Raelynne, in laws, Carl (Rose) Taft, Dennis (Ann) Taft, Sally (Dave) Bossard, Roger Taft and Daniel (Bridget) Taft. Patricia was predeceased by her two dear friends, Pamela Clarkson and Lois Peck, grandson, Orryn Jones, her father, Ronald Arnold, mother-in-law, Virginia Taft, and several other special people in her life.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14. E Pulteney St, Corning, on Saturday May 27, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

A private burial will take place at Seamans Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
