<p>Charles passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in Anchorage, Alaska.</p><p><br></p><p>Charles was born and raised in Anchorage, a proud Tlingit Haida. Charles was a Commercial Truck Driver for Airland Transport for 23 years where he forged many friendships along his journeys. He enjoyed camping in the summers, rooting for the Dallas Cowboys, and binge watching Food Network TV.</p><p><br></p><p>Charles is survived by his wife of 10 years Tamara; father, Gordon Halkett; sister, Pauline Coffey; brother, Donald Halkett; four step-children, eight grandchildren and his beloved spoiled dog Lucy.</p><p><br></p><p>He is also survived by extended family including cousins, nephews and Airland co-workers.</p><p><br></p><p>Charles was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Halkett; brother, Daniel Halkett and beloved dog Daisy.</p><p>Charles was generous and kind and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.</p><p><br></p>
