Dave Perkins, 80, passed away in the comfort of his home in Chugiak, Alaska, on May 16, 2023.

He was born to parents Henry and Alice Perkins, in Uvalde, Texas, on March 24, 1943. He married his high school sweetheart, Frances Gill, in Little River, Texas on July 12, 1963. In 1969, they made the big move up north and decided to make Alaska their new home. He was a US Postal Worker for 30 years before retiring in 2001. Dave loved his family, gun collecting, hunting, and fishing.

Dave is survived by his wife, Frances Perkins; son Troy Perkins (Barbara Knaak); daughter Crystal Flack (Rich); brother Henry Perkins (Alice); 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation held at Evergreen Memorial Chapel in Anchorage, Alaska, Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 1pm. Service will begin at 2pm.

His ashes will be scattered in places around Alaska where he loved to fish and hunt.
