Earl Herbert Nuttall Obituary

Earl Herbert Nuttall, Sr., 89, Oak Grove, Missouri passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Aspire Senior Living, Oak Grove, Missouri surrounded by his family. Cremation with service at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to Lena Nuttall to help with final expenses. Condolences may be left at www.brucefuneralhome.com.

Earl was born in Kansas City, Kansas on March 20,1934 to John and Edith (Campbell) Nuttall. He grew up in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Northwest High School. Earl was a United States Army Veteran. Earl worked for 29 years as a forklift driver for Crooks Terminal, Kansas City, Kansas. He was a member of Local #41 Teamsters. Earl moved to Gardner, Kansas in 1986 and then to Oak Grove, Missouri in 2018. He loved being around his family, playing cards, visiting the waterpark, camping and fishing. Earl loved to watch KU basketball with his son, and managed the family to become such big fans of KU. Earl loved his daughter-in-law so much he told people that she’s his daughter. A favorite memory of him from his granddaughter was the first time he taught her how to play cards, from then on anytime he was around she knew she had to have a deck of cards on hand. His grandson also enjoyed playing cards with him and knew no matter how much he thought he’d win he knew grandpa would always come out on top. Earl’s family would like to thank Aspire in Oak Grove for the love and care, as well as Harbor Hospice.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and five brothers. He is survived by his son Stephen (Lena) Nuttall, and grandchildren: Antonina and Stephen.
