It is with great sadness that the family of the late Priscilla Dicks (nee Vaters) of Rushoon announces her passing. Priscilla passed away at her home in Rushoon on Thursday, May 18th, 2023, at the age of 85.

Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband, Michael; sister-in-law, Susie Norman; many nieces and nephews, especially dedicated nephew, Howard Cheeseman (Mike O'Keefe), plus, extended family and friends.

Priscilla was predeceased by her father, William; mother, Alice (nee Kerrivan); brother, Peter; sister-in-law, Mary Francis Cheeseman; brothers-in-law, Joseph Cheeseman, and Fred Norman.

Special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center, Social Workers, Cynthia Norman and Kim Vaters; Public Health Nurse, Sharon Fewer; Home Care Workers, Denise Hawco, Irene Ryan, and Gerladine Fewer. Also thanks to Dave Barnes, Marion Barry Barnes, Lillian Barry, Gertie Ricketts and Marie Cheeseman for support and guidance.

The Dicks Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman's Funeral Home, Marystown on

Friday, May 19th, 2023 from 7:00pm – 9:00pm and

Saturday, May 20th, 2023 from 10am - 12 noon.

Mass of Christian burial for Priscilla will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on Saturday, May 20th, 2023 at 1:00 pm.

Interment to follow at Christ the King Roman Catholic Cemetery in Rushoon.

In Priscilla's memory donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
