Walter Fox Camerer

<p>Walter Camerer was born in Riverhead, L.I. New York on 3rd June 1936 to Margaret ( Fox) and Roland Camerer. He joined the Air Force at age 18. At Age 23 during a tour in England he met and married his wife Jessie (from Scotland) in June 1959. Their first child Russell was born in Felixstowe England. Second child Brett born at MacDill AFB, Florida USA. Walter served 20 years in the Air Force, two tours of duty overseas, 1 yr in Thailand, 1 yr in Vietnam. He was the Flight Engineer on the C141 at McCord AFB, WA retiring as M/Sgt. </p><p>He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, metal detecting, gold panning and rock hounding. He became a Lapidarist and Silversmith creating jewelry from his cut and polished rocks. Very talented. </p><p>He is survived by his wife of 63 years Jessie, sons Russell and Brett, grandaughter Julia Camerer, great grandson Alan Stallsworth and sister Patricia Liegel. </p><p>There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday 17th June from 2-4 pm at the JENSEN CENTER, VETERANS MEMORIAL MUSEUM, 100 SW VETERANS WAY , CHEHALIS, WA 98532 </p>
