<p>Amy Lateer, 53, of Webster City died Friday, May 12, 2023 at Israel Hospice House in Ames. A</p><p>Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church Activity Room - east entrance. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with serving Amy and her family.</p><p> Amy Jo Lateer, daughter of Ronald and Mary (Rapp) Lateer, was born November 13, 1969 in Webster</p><p>City. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1988 and received her bachelor’s degree in early</p><p>Childhood &amp; Elementary Education from the University of Northern Iowa. Amy was employed for many years at Kmart until the store closed and she went to work as the manager for Dollar Tree. She loved helping others and was a wonderful caregiver for her mother and stepmother in their later years. Amy also babysat for numerous families in the community, loved collecting giraffes and playing cards and</p><p>games.</p><p> She is survived by her sister, Alicia (Bill) Lateer-Huhn of Alexandria, KY; fur baby, Sugar; aunts, Barb</p><p>Loder of Webster City, Maureen Elston of Clarion, Sherrie (David) Zellinger of Newton, and many cousins</p><p>and friends.</p><p> Amy was preceded in death by her parents, Ron and Joyce Lateer, Mary and Tom Halder and aunts,</p><p>Judy Eide, Beverly Rice, Bonnie Boyd, and Frances Forrester.</p>
