It is with heavy hearts the family announces the peaceful passing of Maria Lina da Costa, surrounded by her loving family, on May 10th, 2023, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of José Lino da Costa. Loving mother of Lina Rosa da Costa (David Dubé) and Marcio (Lily)da Costa. Beloved Vóvó of Natasha da Costa, Zenia da Costa and Maddex da Costa. Maria Lina will be remembered by her brother, Jose Henriques, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Maria will always be remembered for her pure love of family. Maria was a fighter. She had a warm smile, and could light up a room when she walked in. Maria loved talking on the phone with her friends and family, going for coffees and camping. Most importantly, Maria was completely selfless.

A Visitation will take place Monday, May 15th, 2023 at All Saints Roman Catholic Church at 10am, until time of memorial Mass at 11am. As expressions of sympathy, donations may made to the Canadian Liver Foundation.
