Edward Kytwayhat

<p>Edward was born April 10, 1956 along with his twin, Robert, to David Jimmy and Josephine Kytwayhat at Loon Lake, SK.&nbsp; Edward was a father, moshum, uncle and friend to many.&nbsp; He was deeply committed to traditional ceremonies; he was a sundancer, ceremonial helper and pipeman in many ceremonies and lodges.&nbsp; &nbsp;Edward hunted and supplied food for ceremonial people.&nbsp; He supplied wood to the lodges in many communities for lodge-keepers.&nbsp; He helped at cultural camps.&nbsp; He attended twin round dances and pow wows. Edward handcrafted ceremonial pipes, hand drums, and rattles.&nbsp; He also made hides.&nbsp; Ceremonial lodge-keepers would seek his skill in these areas.&nbsp; Edward's friendly, easy-going manner made him approachable to many.&nbsp; He had an infectious sense of humour and always helped those in need. He was known as a sugar taxi.&nbsp; Edward loved his hockey and football games, and he travelled to cities to watch live hockey games.&nbsp; As a side activity he went to bingos, and he always had time to chat with others.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br> Edward was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Kytwayhat (1973) and David Jimmy (2018); maternal grandparents, Pete and Madeleine Kytwayhat; paternal grandparents, David and MaryAnn Jimmy; brother, Peter Kytwayhat; an infant baby sister; children, Edwin and Quinton Dufraine and numerous uncles and aunts on both sides of the family.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;<br> He leaves to mourn his passing: brothers, (twin) Robert (Tanya), Raymond (Sharon), Morris (Erica) and Jerry (Tanya); children, Randy, Jeannette (Brian), Arthur and Jonathon; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, the Ouellette family, many friends from all walks of life and many extended family members. </p>
