Richard C LaBar Obituary

Richard C. Labar 58, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. He was the loving husband of Roxanne (Anthony) LaBar with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. Born on December 10, 1959 in East Stroudsburg, Richard was the son of the late Richard LaBar and Carolyn (Bisbing) LaBar. Richard graduated from East Stroudsburg High School in 1978. In addition to his wife and mother Richard is survived by his daughters Heather (LaBar) Craig and her husband Brandon Craig of Pen Argyl; Kerry LaBar and her boyfriend Thomas Garrido; his grandchildren William Craig and Faith Garrido; his sister Debra (LaBar) Zeigafuse; brothers, Stanley LaBar and Companion Vickey Dailey; Mike LaBar; ex-sister in-law Kathy Silfee; long time friends Rusty and Cheryl Vanduyne, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews as well as many other relatives and friends. In addition to his father, Richard was preceded in death by his father in-law Richard Anthony and mother in-law Diane Beaver; brother in law Richard Anthony and many aunts and uncles. A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 2;00pm at the Calvary Baptist Church, 489 Haney Road, Stroudsburg with Pastor Steve Leap officiating. The family would like to thank the Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest Critical Care Unit and the Stroud Regional Police Officers for all their help and a special thank you to the person who made the call to notify police.
