DONNA HALE

Donna M. Hale (nee Kreger) 74, of North Tonawanda on May 9, 2023, after a long illness. Donna was the daughter of the late Donald and Helen (nee Smolinski) Kreger and the stepdaughter of the late Marie Kreger. She was predeceased by her husband, John Hale, and is survived by a son, Gordon (Mary) Klingenschmitt of Colorado Springs, and siblings Donald (Ron Ehmke) Kreger, Diane (Kevin) Kassay, and David (Rachael Short) Kreger. She was devoted to her nieces Kyle (Mike), Kelly (Scott), and Ashley (Carson), and to their children, Benjamin, Alexander, Sophie, Elodie, Maverick, and Kayden.

Donna retired from the Niagara County Treasurers Office. She was an active member of the Niagara Frontier Plein Air Painters, the River Art Gallery, Williamsville Art Society, Buffalo Niagara Art Association, and the Pastel Society of WNY. She took an active role in her church, Vanguard Christian Church, serving in many areas of leadership and missionary work for over thirty years. Her church family played a major role in her life.

Friends will be received by the family on Thursday May 11, 2023 at the Brunner Funeral Home 156 Robinson St., North Tonawanda from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Services will be held on Friday May 12, 2023 at the Vanguard Christian Church at 7 PM at 375 Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda.
