Daniel Pease
<p> Daniel W. Pease, Wheatland, ND, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 6, 2023. </p><p> Dan was born in Oakes, ND on November 30, 1938, and was raised in Glover, ND. Dan met his wife Clarisse Ann Bordt in Forman, ND, and they were married on July 24, 1960. </p><p> Dan worked at Ackerman Welding in Aberdeen, SD, until 1971. The family then moved to West Fargo, ND, where he worked at Westgo Truck Equipment and then Cargill in Riverside, ND where he retired in December 2000. Dan and Clarisse then moved to Wheatland, ND, and fulfilled his lifelong dream of becoming a cattle rancher, which he continued until January, 2023, when he sold his remaining cattle. </p><p> Dan enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved it when his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren came to visit him on the farm. They were his pride and joy in life. Dan’s idea of an extraordinary life was living on the farm. He always enjoyed the work even if it was hard. He loved every day to the fullest and never shied away from a hard day’s work. </p><p> Dan is survived by his wife, Clarisse of 62 years; brother, Harlen (Pam) of Gold Canyon, AZ; three children: Bill (Ann) of Blaine, MN, Londell (Shelley) of Apple Valley, MN, Sheila (Terry) of Hopkins, MN; extended family, John, Bonita, and Bruce Lehmann of Wheatland, ND; nine grandchildren, Jordan, Topher, Jennifer, Dawn, Kaelee, Tasha, Rockwell, Adrianne, Zach; and nine great-grandchildren. </p><p> He was preceded in death by his mother, Pauline; father, Bill; brother, Cyrus Ulrich; great-grandchild, Jacob Londell Williams; and many aunts and uncles. </p><p> Dan, our Papa, will be greatly missed by many! </p><p> Service: A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 13, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., in West Funeral Home, Casselton, ND, with visitation one hour prior to the service. </p><p> Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo ND. </p><p>West Funeral Home & Life Tribute Center </p><p>westfuneralhome.com </p>Obituary
