LITTLE FALLS - Patricia Ann Lytwynec passed away peacefully, on May 4, 2023, at the SECU Hospice House, in Smithfield, North Carolina, after a brief illness. She was born on April 24, 1962, in Little Falls New York, the youngest daughter of Joseph and Agnes Murphy Lytwynec. She attended school in both Ilion and Little Falls, eventually graduating from Little Falls. She was a graduate of Fordham University.

Patty worked and lived most of her years in New York and New Jersey. She managed a number of prominent restaurants over the years, in Manhattan and Northern New Jersey, eventually leaving the industry for other pursuits. She particularly enjoyed raising German Shepherds.

Patty was predeceased by both her parents; as well as her brother, Joey Lytwynec; and her husband, Dominick Freda.

She is survived by her siblings: Anne Lytwynec, of Farmington, NY, Elizabeth Kiszka, of Freehold, NJ, Brian Lytwynec, of Sparta, NJ, Jennifer Mulready, of Newton, MA and Mellissa Harris, of Little Falls, NY. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins; her Aunt Helen Lytwynec Murphy, of Edison, NJ; and a number of life long friends, including Matthew Brugel; and her German Shepherd, Lyla.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to the staff, caregivers and volunteers of the SECU Hospice House, in Smithfield, North Carolina, for their support, guidance and care throughout.

In respect of Patty’s wishes there will be no services.
