Heidi Marie Gagne, 71 years, a resident of Alfred, ME passed away unexpectedly at Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford.

Heidi was born August 30, 1951 in Detroit, MI, the daughter of Jack and Betty June (Lanctot) Simon.

Ms. Gagne was a long-time substitute teacher for the Biddeford School District.

She was predeceased by her parents and by a son, Allen Kass.

Survivors include her children, Bridget Church and husband William of Biddeford, ME, Matthew Gagne of Alfred, ME and Crystal Danis and husband Mike of Saco, ME; a brother, Reece Simon and wife Ann of NC; grandchildren, Danielle Cote of Biddeford, ME, James Giedraitis of AL and Ahliviah Gagne of Alfred, ME; nephews, Andrew Simon and wife Abbie of NC and Daniel Simon of NC.

Per Heidi's request there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Heidi’s memory can be sent to a fund to support Ahliviah’s future education. Please contact any Biddeford Savings/Maine Community Bank for further information and note Ahliviah M. Gagne in the memo line.
