Michael Dalton

December 25, 1993-April 28, 2023

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Michael James Dalton announce his passing at his home on April 28, 2023 at the age of 29 years old. Michael was a member of Operating Engineers local 904.

Michael is predeceased by his grandparents; Albert Eric Drover and Frederick and Janet Dalton.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents, James and Donna Dalton, grandmother Isabelle Drover and special friends Miranda Burt and Jeffery Champion. Michael also leaves to mourn his aunts; Lisa (Roger) & family, Christa (Terry) & family, Barb (Bill) & family, uncle; Ed Dalton, Nanette (Dave) & family, as well as extended cousins, family & friends.

Michael graduated from LBA in 2011. After High School he attended Dietrac for Heavy Duty Mechanics. It was from a very young age he found his love of mechanics, he then went on to complete Heavy Duty equipment operator at Central Training Academy. He had many jobs over the years but most recently lead him to his career at Voisey's Bay Mine with Pennecon Industrial as a Heavy Duty Mechanic/Lube Service Technician. It was there he left a lasting impression towards his work ethic and he was respected by all who worked with him. His biggest passion for many years was stock car racing. This pastime started at Exploits Valley Speedway (which was started by his uncle Lloyd Lambert)

He will be forever loved and missed by his mom and dad, and all of his family and friends.

Flowers are graciously accepted. Pallbearers are Miranda Burt, Jeffrey Champion, Greg Squires, Stephen Ellis, Brady Ward and Matthew Morris. Honorary pallbearer is Lloydie Lambert.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Mondella Winsor and Julia Caines of Central Funeral Homes.
