<p>https://sites.google.com/biogeosci.nz/mary-beth-memorial</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Mary Beth Baisden, age 89, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on April 27, 2023 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the daughter of Alfred and Lillian (Tubman) Rickards and wife of the late William Baisden, Jr. She grew up in Wilmington, DE attending Friends School and Centenary College before attending the University of Delaware where she earned a degree in medical technology. She then went on to run the microbiology lab at GBMC in Towson, Maryland. She met Bill Baisden while living in Towson, married and had her son Troy in 1971. They moved to Fallston and attended Christ Our King for many years. She was active in tennis, bridge and volunteered to support the Community Clothing Center for many years. She also enjoyed her farm and waterfront along the Sassafras River on the Eastern Shore, where she had many happy memories growing up and spending time with close friends and family. Since 2016 she has lived in Brightview Avondell in Bel Air.</p><p><br></p><p>Elizabeth is survived by her son, William Troy Baisden, II and her granddaughter, Sage.</p><p><br></p><p>Those who desire may contribute to the Eastern Shore Land Conservancy at https://www.eslc.org/give/ or a charity of your choice.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will be hosting a memorial service at Christ Our King Presbyterian Church on Thursday May 4, 2023 at 1 pm.&nbsp;<br></p><p><br></p>
