Obituary for Sister Mary Nevils London
Mary Nevils London was born on July 5, 1953, in Franklin, Tennessee to the late Malcolm Nevils, Sr. and Anna Mai Lockridge Nevils. She entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.
Mary truly loved the Lord and was a member of Connection Hill Primitive Baptist Church for many years where she sung in the choir. Mary graduated from Franklin High School in 1971 and went on to continue her education at Branell College as well as Watkins Business School. She retired from Verizon Wireless after 27 years of service as an Engineer II. Her hobbies included spending time with her family, singing which included gospel as well as country music, traveling, and dancing.
Mary is preceded in death by parents Malcolm Nevils, Sr. and Anna Mai Lockridge Nevils; brothers, James Nevils, Sr., Booker C. Nevils and Robert Nevils.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Robert London; children, Ashley Heath and Makinde’ London; brothers, Malcolm (Mattie) Nevils, John (Delois) Nevils and Willie B. (Cassandra) Nevils; sisters, Delia Belcher, Margaret Nevils, and lifelong sisters/friends, Deborah Perry and Shirleen Davis. Mary had a host of others that were also very special to her (too many to name) along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Homegoing Celebration Saturday, April 29, 2023 with visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm with Funeral Services to follow at 12 Noon at
