Shirley Audrey Lesage
<p>Shirley Lesage, age 91, of South Burlington passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born 10/31/31 to Roland and Cecile (Lestage) Brisson of Burlington, VT. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Lesage in 1999. She was also predeceased by her brothers Carl, Roland, Jr. and Donald. Shirley leaves behind her children Debra Lesage (Rod Shedd), Alan (Michelle Gray), Diane Fitzgerald (Pat), Joanne Lesage, Glen, and Norman. Seven grandchildren Allison Burke (Joe), Suzanne Thompson (Jason), Jeremy Fitzgerald (Kristen), Travis Fitzgerald, Evan Schmitt, Matthew and Melissa Lesage as well as seven great grandchildren Andrew Burke, Ethan and Mason Thompson, Ethan, Lucas, Bethany, and Grady Fitzgerald. Shirley is survived by her sister Jean DeGuise (Mike) as well as many nieces and nephews.</p><p>Mom was a homemaker and had six children in seven years. We are forever thankful for our wonderful memories and the values instilled in each of us. Bless you, Mom!</p><p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church in Winooski on Thursday, May 4th at 11:00 am followed by burial in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery.
