Passed peacefully away on April 24th, 2023 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s, NL, James (Jim) Henry Fudge, age 86 years.

A never ending, never wavering Boston Bruin fan for most of his life that same passion and love is what he applied to all aspects of his life. His love for his wife and best friend remained steadfast all during her continuing battle with Dementia. The love for his children, daughter in law, grandkids both human and fur was unshakable. His kindness and compassion will be remembered by his brothers, sister in laws, nieces and nephews and all those that knew him. No matter the time we shared it was still not long enough. Until we meet again.

Predeceased by parents, Elizabeth and Jerry Fudge; parents in law, Elizabeth and Wilson Poole; sister Rose (Rosie) and brother in law, Neil Fudge; sister in law, Vi; nephew, Ron and Uncle John Wells.

Jim is survived by his best friend and love of his life, Elsie; son, Brian and daughter in law, Deanna; grandson, Andrew; great grandson, Noah; fur puppy, Max; daughter, Deborah; fur babies, Luna (his favourite), Silver, and just left to join him, Bruin. Also, leaving to mourn with fond memories are brothers, Hughie (Elsie), Bill (Florence), Calvin (Ruth), Gordon (Theresa), Allan (Irene); nieces and nephew; special friends, Ron and Millie Skinner and Flora and Clyde Fever.

Visitation took place on Thursday, April 27th from 1-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service took place at Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 on Friday April 28th with interment following at the Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
