Mark Cary Williams 71, of Bloomsburg, went to be with the Lord Monday April 24, 2023, at the Geisinger Medical Center Danville. He was born February 25, 1952, in Berwick, a son of the late Alfred Cary Williams and Shirley Search Williams.

Mark graduated from Central Columbia High School, Class of 1970. He was a member of Elks Lodge #436. He owned and loved old classic cars, especially the cars made by the Chrysler Corporation. He was a pet lover, loving his two cats and dog. He was in the Civil Air Patrol in Albany, Georgia. He worked as a newscaster for WALB TV in Albany, radio and television in Binghamton New York, Grand Island Nebraska, Albany Georgia, Daytona  Beach Florida, and retired from WHLM, Bloomsburg in 2019. He also worked with Nancy Grace and was on her show, for one year during the time of a big case in Florida. Mark loved auto racing in any form, working for MRN (Motor Racing Network) where he directed the races for the NASCAR Truck Series and also worked in assisting MRN for other NASCAR races. He was a big railroad fan and had special places he would go to watch trains. Mark loved the Bloomsburg Fair and would come back every year for it. He always wanted to come back home and he did.

Mark is survived by his wife, the former Mary Cacciatore, whom he married on March 3, 1979, sister Viki Williams of El Paso, Texas, stepmother Marie Williams of Bloomsburg, stepbrothers Michael H. Brown and Mark J. Brown both of Bloomsburg, step sister Deborah Midkiff (Stephen) of Bloomsburg , sister-in-law Angie Lesko of Endicott, NY, three nieces, one nephew, and one great-nephew.

Graveside services will be Friday April 28, 2023, at 11:00 am at Pine Grove Cemetery at Walnut St., Berwick The family will receive friends and family on Thursday April 27, 2023, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Rodger T. Bunnell Funeral Home, 435 Market St. Bloomsburg Pa. 17815.
