Carrie Frances (Morgan) Storti Obituary

Carrie Frances (Morgan) Storti, 90, passed away peacefully April 22, 2023.

Carrie was born September 14, 1932, to Perley and Ola (Brawn) Morgan at their home in Upper Hainesville, New Brunswick, Canada. Carrie graduated from Deering High School and later moved to Massachusetts where she worked as a bank teller and met her future husband, Albert. The two moved their family to Maine in 1982. Carrie served the community by opening a daycare. She loved “her kids.” This job that she loved so dearly would ultimately prepare her for her life’s calling: being Mimi.

Carrie was predeceased by her husband Albert Soccorso Storti, and siblings Arthur and Doris Morgan, Harold Morgan and Mabel Billings, John and Edna Brownlow and brother-in-law John Anderson, as well as wonderful in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends she held dear. Carrie is survived by her sister, Emma Winnifred Anderson; daughters, Traci Storti and Jeremy Sjoberg, Sharon Storti; grandchildren Anessa, Alexander and Teadora Wilde; several nieces and nephews and all of her “kids,” especially the final babies of the daycare, Dustin and Tyler Delano.

Relatives and friends are welcome to call 2:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park St. Houlton, where a service will be held immediately following visitation with a reception to follow.
