Homero Xavier Herrera was born on September 20, 1972, in Mexico. The youngest son of Jose Manuel and Galdina. His siblings were Jesus (Chuy), Claudio, Sara, Jose and Martha.

Homer's two oldest children Natalie and Homer Jr. were born in Brownsville, Texas. He moved to Saskatchewan, where he met his soul mate, Mandy. Together they were blessed with Greg, Layla, Ben and Ellie.

Homer loved people and especially was proud of the management positions he held over the years, and the friendships that remained after. Homer loved and excelled with computers, and was everyone's "computer expert", he would always figure it out.

Homer had a huge heart, and the love he had for his family was immeasurable. Homer will remain forever in our Hearts and will be sadly missed.
