Services for Kameron Lane Shelton will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the First Baptist Church in Jena with Reverend Steve Cripps, Reverend Tim Kirl, and Rodney Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Summerville Cemetery in Summerville under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
The family requests that visitation be observed at the First Baptist Church in Jena on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 4 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
Kameron Lane Shelton, age 15, of Trout, was born on May 15, 2007 in Alexandria to the union of Kenneth and Angie Shelton, and passed from this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Kameron was a Sophomore at Jena High School. He was a loving and outgoing kid. He loved hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family. He was a four-wheeler fanatic, and he loved riding them any chance he got.
He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Shelton; paternal grandmother, Dianne Rollins; paternal grandfather, Donald “Doodle” Rollins; and maternal grandmother, Cathy Terrell.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Kenneth Sherman Shelton, and Angela Denise Terrell Shelton of Trout; maternal grandfather, Chester Terrell of Urania; double first cousin/best friend, Kylee Shelton; friends, Bralyn Cripps, and Aidan Brooks; and many other family, friends, and classmates.
Pallbearers will be David Moss, Ray Moss, Hunter Moss, Jerry Moss, Chris Thomas, and Chris Poole.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Boyett, Bralyn Cripps, Rodney Shelton, Rodney Andrews, Jordy Boyett, and “Fruit” Taylor.
