<p>John W. Dray II, passed away unexpectedly on April 17, 2023 at his home in Northfield.</p><p><br></p><p>Born on January 19, 1967 to John W. Dray Sr. and Karen M. Polley and beloved step son of John L. Polley. The eldest of three children, he leaves behind his sisters, Donna and Kristina Dray and step sister Noelle Polley.</p><p><br></p><p>John had an extraordinary zest for life like no other, his presence filled the room the moment he entered. He was loud, boisterous and a legend in his own mind. He was a storyteller and willing to offer advice (whether solicited or not). Considered himself a cool cat, a cowboy and invincible. </p><p><br></p><p>John wasn't afraid of hard work, whether it was diving in Reversing Falls or climbing to the top of a 1000' tower. </p><p><br></p><p>John leaves behind his greatest accomplishments in life, his children Ava and Evan Dray, whom he loved and treasured with all his heart. His memory will live on with them, and his nieces and nephews, Alexandria and Garrett Preston; Payten Daniel, Daniel and Domenico Dunn; and great niece and nephew, Alana and Ashton Preston.</p><p><br></p><p>John is predeceased by his mother Karen, stepfather John and stepmother Wilma.</p><p><br></p><p>John will be deeply missed by his family and friends.</p><p>He will never be forgotten.</p><p>A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. </p>
