Mr. Clifton Ambrose, 86, transitioned at the North Carolina Veterans Home in Kinston on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Steven Ambrose of Kinston, NC, Billy Truift of Texas, Clifton Strickland of Texas, Charlie Daron Ambrose of Kentucky, Milagro Solomon of Kinston, NC; one brother, Leatha Ambrose of Kinston, NC; one sister, Jeen Jackson of Kinston, NC; one sister-in-law, Mattie Ambrose; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.
The Viewing of Mr. Ambrose will take place Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 3pm to 6pm at Mills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday, April 26, 2023 in Mills Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in East Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
