Claire Viens, 96, passed away on April 16, 2023, at the McClure-Miller Respite House surrounded by her loving family. Claire was born On September 26, 1926. She worked for many years at Victoria's Secret, retiring at 84. She married the love of her life, Raymond Viens, on June 3, 1950, and was married until his passing on November 8, 2014.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Paulette (Mark) Noyes, Mike (Jane) Viens, Rose (Brian) Chicoine, Denise (Paul) Provost, Gerry (Sharon) Viens, Richard (Tracy) Viens; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, 11 brothers and sisters, many nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, granddaughter Cassandra, and brothers John and Roger.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 13, 2023, at noon at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with burial to follow at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to St. Francis Xavier School or the McClure-Miller Respite House. Arrangements are under the care of LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.

A reception will be held at the VFW (6 Maple St, Winooski) at 1pm after the service.
