Linda L. Mann Obituary

Obituary: Linda L. Mann

Dateline: Acton, Maine

Linda L. Mann, 68, beloved wife and Nana, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Southern Maine Healthcare in Biddeford.

Linda was born in Sanford on November 3, 1954, the daughter of Harold and Madeline (Sargent) Hamilton.

Linda was the ever-present Nana, her hands were outstretched with love, hugs, and kisses. She worked a variety of jobs with her favorite becoming a Certified Nurses Aide and caring for her patients.

Nana loved watching her family interact at any opportunity, she loved watching them play softball, playing cards with the grandkids, and watching the monkeys at the Zoo live on her iPad. She also loved watching the birds out her living room window. Nana had a passion for reading, crafting of any kind and she was an expert collector of recipes.

Nana’s home was always open to any of our friends or kids that needed a place to stay or just a helping hand. She loved unconditionally.

She had many Knick names: Wife, Mom, Sis, Hands, Lovey, Nana Mann, and Nana banana because she liked to wear complete yellow outfits.

Linda will be missed by her family and many friends who had the honor of knowing her.

Linda is survived by her husband of 32 years Mark Mann, their children David Hamilton, Angelia Bissell, and Helen Ham. Her son Ronnie Thyng predeceased her in 2005.

Her stepsons include Robert, Ricky, Randy, and Richie Thyng. Their children are Brittany, Andrew, Charlie, Justin Lydia, Jared, Joelle, Shawna, and Cody.

David’s children include Kayleigh Hamilton, David Hamilton, Jr., and Scott Ruel. His stepsons are Mark and Justin Clark.

Angelia’s children include Michael Wallingford, Brett Wallingford, and Kimberly Clark.
