Jackie moved to Golden in 1964 with her loving husband Real Cyr. Real and Jackie were married for 57 years. Real passed away in 2018. Jackie had 2 children, Martine (Alvie) and Rene (deceased 2008) and 2 Grandchildren, Sana (Don) and Dawson. She is survived by her daughter and Grandchildren, who truly adored and loved her.

Jackie was a cook at the Golden Hospital for 25 years, she loved her job and everyone she worked with. Besides spending time with her family and friends at Mitten lake, she always had a great passion for baking and sewing. Having sewed a few wedding dresses.

Real and Jackie attended many Lumberjack competitions throughout the years, taking home many trophies for the Jack and Jill Swedes saw and the Axe throwing.

Jackie had a bright and energetic personality and was known for helping others. She touched many lives with her generosity, her smiles, hugs and passion for life. She will be missed deeply by her family, friends and all that knew her.
