John William Green, age 92, a resident of Goshen, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Baptist East Hospital in Montgomery. There are no memorial services planned at this time.

Mr. Green was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a man that loved life and lived it to the fullest. Even into his 90's you could find Mr. Green out playing golf, eating at Julia's and living his life. He loved his family and enjoyed every minute he got to spend with them. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters: Lynn Foster and Annette Garrette (Robert); grandchildren: Marcus Warren and Amber Jolliff; nieces: Susan Gibson (Tommy) and Dianne Leveque (John); great-nephew, Joseph Leveque (Kristin) along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family.

He was preceded in death by wife, Belle Green; sons: John W. Green II, John W. Green III, Leon Green; parents: George and Daisy Green; grandson, Dewaine Keene; brothers: Lenon Green (Mary), Benny Green (Lucy); and sister, Loraine Collins (Ed)
