Glover, Deborah (1950-2023)

Deborah Glover of Sudbury passed away at the age of 72. March 31st, 2023. Debbie is resting peacefully after a long fight with cancer.  

Debbie was always on the hunt for the best deal spending a lot of her time buying gifts for her loved ones and friends. She never showed up to a Holiday empty-handed, she loved to bring her favorite baking to share with everyone. Debbie enjoyed working at the Superstore for many years starting in the deli and moving into a cashier's position. She was a hard worker and never went without a smile. Debbie was the biggest Elvis fan, when one of his songs came on during a family gathering she would have to turn it up so she could listen and sing along with him. During her final days, she would lay and listen to all his hits. When one of her favorites would come on her eyes would fly open. 

Debbie is survived by her brother Mike (Melissa), and sisters Marianne, Roxanne, and Roberta. Her Nephews Bruce (Lynn), Darrell, Robert, Jason(Michelle), and Jacob(Billie). Her Niece Bobi (Dan). She will be sadly missed by all of her great Nephews and Nieces and countless friends. In addition to Debra's parents Helen and Stewart, she was predeceased by her Brothers Stewart, John, and Niece Helen.

A special thank you to the Nurses, PSWs, Doctors, and Norm at Maison McCulloch Hospice. Your care allowed us to just love Deb and be there for her when she needed us the most. 

A celebration of life will be held at The Lockerby Legion Branch 564, 2200 Long Lake Road Sudbury on April 29th, 2023 from 4 pm to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked to make donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
