Betty Jo Davis

Betty Jo Davis, age 73, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023.  She was born January 10, 1950 in El Reno, OK to Earl and Rebecca Marie (Brown) Morrison.  She was a graduate of Union City High School and later earned her cosmetology certificate.  She worked a number of years for Dayton Tire, but her claim was she a “Domestic Engineer” and family agreed she was the very best.  She married the love of her life, Carl Davis on June 24, 1980, they enjoyed camping, fishing together and she enjoyed pottery and her church when she was able to attend.  She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Erlene Sanders, Joretta Morrison, Evelyn Lair, Judy Owens, Myrna Oldham and Carol Stevens and brother Eddie Morrison.  Betty is survived by her husband Carl of 42 years, daughter, Dawn M. Richardson and son Tyler D. Davis, grandchildren, Rabeca, Braden, Erin, Gavin and Kinleigh, sisters, Twila Boyd and Edweena Sanders, brother, Donnie Morrison and many nieces, nephews and friends.  Funeral Services will be 2:00pm, Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at McNeil’s Funeral Service, Mustang, OK with burial to follow at the Union City Cemetery, Union City, Oklahoma.
