Edward Mullan

<p>Edward P. Mullan, 63, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2023 after a long illness. </p><p><br></p><p>Ed was born on July 22, 1959 to Rita and Edward Mullan in Mineloa, New York. After Ed graduated from Dunedin High School in 1977 he went on to serve in the U.S. Navy. After he completed his service, he returned home to Dunedin to continue his education graduating from the University of South Florida. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>After college he started his career by working in several different aspects of law enforcement to include a dispatcher and a court bailiff. After 10 years he decided to change careers and received degrees in Computer Networking. Which was turned into a 15 year career of teaching others in the classroom the joys of the computer. </p><p><br></p><p>Ed met his wife, Mary, through a young adult’s church function in the mid 1980's. We lost contact with each other and met up again in 1990 and the rest they say is history. Ed and Mary went on to have their daughter, Rebecca. </p><p><br></p><p>In 2019, Ed retired from teaching and went on to finding and enjoying being a Ham Radio Operator. </p><p><br></p><p>Ed was predeceased by his parents, Ed &amp; Rita Mullan. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary, daughter Rebecca, his brother Kevin &amp; Pattry (Herrera) Mullan, his sisters, Marianne Mullan, Patty (Mullan) &amp; Rex Waldrop, nieces Jessica Gallegos (Mullan), Claudia Mullan, nephews Kyle Mullan and Christopher &amp; Tiffany Mullan (Baum). </p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Services will be held at St Jerome Catholic Church, Holy Family Chapel on April 18, 2023 at 11:30am.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the SPCA Tampa Bay or Suncoast Animal League.</p>
