MRS. INES HEETER

<p>Ines Lorene Heeter was born July 30, 1958, in Clarksville, Tennessee to W.B. (Doug) and Oretha Kendrick. Ines was one of nine siblings. She attended Clarksville Public Schools in Tennessee before moving to Indianapolis in 1975. She graduated from Arsenal Technical High School in 1976. </p><p>She was added to the body of Christ at the Kingsley Terrace Church of Christ in 1979 where she worshipped until moving to Searcy, Arkansas. She faithfully served and loved the Lord. </p><p>She was joined in marriage, forty-two short years ago, to Eric Heeter on August 2, 1980, at the Kingsley Terrace Church of Christ in Indianapolis, Indiana (the late Bro. G.P. Holt, Sr.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; presiding). To this union, were born five children (by order of birth): son Eric Heeter, Jr., daughters Vanessa Heeter and Taneekqua Zeigler, sons Robert and Trae Heeter. </p><p>Ines loved baby-sitting her grandchildren (and anyone else’s children), cooking, and working crossword puzzles. Ines graduated from Navarro College in Waco, Texas. She spent her career working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at Kindred Hospital until her health began to fail. Ines loved her co-workers. </p><p>Ines was a kind, warm, soft-spoken, loving soul who countless people loved and appreciated. She was always the first to help. She served as an example of what help should look like. She never met a soul in need that she didn’t stop to help. If you called her, she would answer the phone. </p><p>Ines loved the Lord, and she would tell you that. Ines loved her husband. Ines was the mother of all mothers. She would reclaim her children back from a lion and a bear if need be. She loved her children and grandchildren more than her next breath of life. </p><p>Ines loved her nieces and nephews and celebrated all their success in life as though she was celebrating the success of her own children. If you needed her, she was there. She lived a life of gratitude for the smallest of gestures of kindness shown to her. She will be missed but not forgotten by many. Ines departed this life on March 29, 2023, after a long but well fought battle with Huntington’s Disease. </p><p>She was preceded in death by her father, W.B. Kendrick; sister, Ailene Toliver; brothers, Raymond and Robert Kendrick; niece, Jessica Kendrick. </p><p>Ines leaves to cherish her memory her beloved mother, Oretha Kendrick; devoted husband, Eric; daughters, Vanessa Heeter and Taneekqua (Dennis) Zeigler; sons Eric Jr., Robert, and Trae (Callie) Heeter; granddaughters, Nyla and Johanna Heeter; Amari Zeigler; grandsons, Eric Heeter, III; Dennis III, Ayden and Donovan Zeigler; sisters, Bertha Coe and Jessie (Lemuel) Perry; brothers, John, James (Patrice) and Roy Kendrick; mother-in-law, Norma (William) Sarver; sister-in-law, Deborah (Albert) Strange; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Carlene) Heeter and Samuel (Lisa) Elliott; nieces, MeShelle Coe-Bradley, Stephanie Rose; nephews Morris Coe, Jr., Anthony (Stephanie) Toliver, James Kendrick, Jr. and Dominique Kendrick, and many dear great nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>Humbly Submitted&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;The Family </p><p>&nbsp; </p>
