Maria Olivia Lopez, 57, de Los Fresnos, Texas falleció el miércoles 29 de marzo del 2023, en Harlingen Medical Center.

Maria Olivia Lopez nació en Tampico, Tamaulipas de Fortunato Lopez y Maria De Jesús Borjas. Tiempo después se mudó a Puerto Isabel y Los Fresnos llamándolos su hogar, donde obtuvo trabajos en la isla, varios años en Pizza Hut en Puerto Isabel y luego en Whataburger. Su propósito de vida era darles a sus hijos una buena vida. Ella disfruto de una vida modesta con sus hijos y nietos. Le encantaba ver a su familia crecer y verlos unidos. Era miembra de Casa de Mi Padre Christian Church. Oly ayudaba a todos los que necesitaban ayuda. Gente la recuerdan a ella como una persona trabajadora y dedicada a sus hijos y nietos.

Le proceden en muerte su padre, Fortunato Lopez: Tio Arnulfo Lopez; esposo Pedro Patino; y su primer esposo Roberto Patino.

Le sobreviven su madre Maria De Jesus Borjas: hijos, Alen (Virginia) Patino, Nancy (Nelson) Camarillo, Lesly Patino, Jocelyn Patino; hermanos Fortunato(Ruby) Lopez, Norma Alicia (Alfonso) Avila, Rosalinda(Mariano) Campos, Miriam(Raul) Castillo, Alba Liliana Lopez, San Juana Lopez, Ramon Lopez; grandchildren Nelson Camarillo, Jaden Camarillo, Madison Camarillo, y Logan Camarillo.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 5 de abril del 2023, de 3:00 p. m. a las 9:00 p.m. con un servicio de oración a las 7:00 p.m. en la funeraria Thomae-Garza en San Benito, Texas.

Con un servicio capilla el jueves 6 de abril del 2023 a las 10:00 a.m. en la funeraria Thomae-Garza y seguirá el entierro al cemeterio Los Cuates en Los Fresnos, Texas.

Maria Olivia Lopez, 57, of Los Fresnos, TX passed away Wednesday, March 29. 2023, at Harlingen Medical Center.

Maria Olivia Lopez was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas to Fortunato Lopez and Maria de Jesus Borjas. She later called Port Isabel and Los Fresnos home, where she worked jobs on the island and several years at Pizza Hut in Port Isabel and later Whataburger. She was a member of Casa de Mi Padre Christian Church. Her focus in life was to give her children a better life. She enjoyed her modest life with her children and grandchildren. She loved watching her family grow and come together. Oly helped anyone who was in need. She is remembered by many for her hard work and dedication to her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father, Fortunato Lopez; uncle, Arnulfo Lopez; husband, Pedro Patino; and her first husband Roberto Patino.

She is survived by her mother, Maria de Jesus Borjas; children, Alen (Virginia) Patino, Nancy (Nelson) Camarillo, Lesly Patino, Jocelyn Patino; siblings, Fortunato (Ruby) Lopez, Norma Alicia (Alfonso) Avila, Rosalinda (Mariano) Campos, Miriam (Raul) Castillo, Alba Liliana Lopez, San Juana Lopez, Ramon Lopez; grandchildren, Nelson Camarillo, Jaden Camarillo, Madison Camarillo, and Logan Camarillo.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos, Texas.
