<p>Anna Mae Smith, 64, lifelong resident of Little Axe, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 in Norman, Oklahoma. </p><p>She was born November 13, 1958 to Mickey Smith and Velma Blanchard in Norman, Oklahoma </p><p>Anna was raised in Little Axe and attended school in Little Axe, Noble and Ft. Sill Indian School in Lawton. </p><p>She worked at the University of Oklahoma, Bemis Construction Company, United Design, Dotline Trucking Company and Community Action in Oklahoma City. </p><p>Anna enjoyed gardening, playing ball, bead work and singing. </p><p>She was preceded in death by father, Mickey Smith; nieces, Dasia Neconie-Shawnee and Anna Roberts.&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; </p><p>Survivors include her 2 sons, Everett and Newakis Malone Tahah of Newalla, OK and Bart Tahah of Newalla, OK; her mother, Velma Blanchard; 3 grandchildren, Keilani Tahah, Talon Tahah and Olkson Tahah; 3 sisters, Sharon Shawnee, Katie and Todd Yates and Melissa Smith; 5 brothers, Roy and Loislin Gibson, Marvin and Sherry Smith, Gary and Nicole Gibson, Mickey Smith, Jr. and Archie Smith; and other extended family and friends. </p><p>Tribal Rites will be Friday evening, March 31, 2023 at Brendle Corner with Glenn Mann officiating and Nick Gibson assisting. Burial will be Saturday morning, April 1, 2023 at Absentee Shawnee Tribe Burial Grounds under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. </p>
