Isabel D. Quiroz, 79, of Abilene passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023. Funeral Services will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church Friday March 31st, 2023 at 9:30am. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm at North's Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7pm Thursday March 30, 2023.

Isabel D. Quiroz was born in Trickham, Tx to Pedro Diaz and Dominga Gonzales on July14, 1943. She married Gustavo Q. Quiroz on August 19, 1963, in Santa Anna Tx. She was involved in Saint Francis church: Cursillistas, The Guadalupana Society, Los Hijos de Maria, La Garcia de Dios, the choir she sang in for so many years, Extraordinary Minister (she took communion and ministered to the homebound) She helped with funerals and funeral meals. She was a faithful servant to the Lord, whom she loved very much and an asset to the community of St Francis of Assisi. She will be truly missed.

Quiroz was proceeded in death by her son, Gustavo Ray Quiroz, Father; Pedro Diaz, mother; Dominga Diaz, sisters; Virginia Diaz Ponce, Ophelia Diaz, Lecha Diaz, brothers; Victorino Diaz, Jesus Diaz, Reyes Diaz, Chema Diaz, Lupe Diaz, Valentin Diaz, nephews; Luciano E. Espitia Jr., David Diaz, Pete Diaz, mother in law; Cruz Hernandez and brother in law; Luciano Espitia Senior.

Isabel D. Quiroz is survived by Spouse: Gustavo O. Quiroz, Son: Harvey P. Quiroz, and Wife Belinda Quiroz, Daughter: Rose M. Del Rio. Son: Samuel E. Quiroz and Wife Michelle Quiroz: Grandchildren: Jessica Quiroz, Jeremy Quiroz, Rachel Quiroz, Leigha Marderosian, Jaysa Hansen Anthony, Braye Quiroz, Isiah Quiroz, Leslie Quiroz, Samuel Jr. Quiroz, Great Grandchildren: Exavien Quiroz, Elijah Quiroz, Brooklynn Quiroz, Dowlin Marderosian, Mitchell Chasity Hansen, Braxton Hansen. Sister: Sammy Espitia. Brother: Luis Diaz, Richard Diaz.

I want to Thank Hendricks Hospice and all the nurses. I want to Thank all of mom's friends at St Francis church choir who loved her so much. I want to Thank my family for loving Mom. I want to Thank my all my sister-in-law Belinda Quiroz, Michelle Quiroz, and Bridget Turnbow for all their support throughout the years with Mom. I want to thank Melissa Hill and Crystal Watson for supporting Mom and loving her thought-out the years. I want to Thank her Niece: Joanne Herrera, whom mom loved so very much, and all her help though the years. Her best friend Mary Flores for being there for Mom. Until we reunite again Mommy, I love you.
