<p>Barbara J. Spang, 63, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at her home in Fond du Lac. She was born in Fond du Lac on April 17, 1959, the daughter of L. Kelly and Genevieve (Breister) Kelly. Barb graduated from Goodrich High School in 1977. She was married to Terry Spang in Fond du Lac on February 10, 1979.</p><p><br></p><p>Barb was a proud wife and mother who enjoyed taking care of those she loved. Over the years, she worked various customer service positions while maintaining the home. She took great pride in the work she did and later in life, the volunteer opportunities she assisted with in the community.</p><p><br></p><p>Barb is survived by her husband, Terry. She is further survived by her daughter, Sarah (Matthew) Niehaus of Madison; four siblings: brothers William (Joy) Kelly of Pennsylvania and Thomas (Barbara) Kelly of Florida, and sisters Susan Sitter of Oshkosh and Elizabeth Temple of Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Sandy (Peter) Steger of Oakfield, and a brother-in-law, Randy (Sue) Spang of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Tony Sitter.</p><p><br></p><p>At Barb’s request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Agnesian HealthCare Foundation to support their hospice services. The family wishes to thank the entire Agnesian/SSM hospice team as well as the 5 West nursing staff for their exceptional care during Barb’s final days.</p>
