Patricia Ann Pusey, age 73, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born November 10, 1949, in Salisbury, Maryland to the late Gladys (Floyd) Whitelock.

Patricia is survived by her husband of nearly 57 years, Kenneth Wayne Pusey Sr. and their two children, Melissa (Hugh) Moore and Kenny (Jaci) Pusey Jr. Her grandchildren, Tiffanie, Samantha, and Alisha Downs. She is also survived by her brother Paul (Becky) Whitelock, Richard (Sandy) Abbott and predeceased by her sister, Julia (Roger) Hornsby. She also leaves behind many other loving family members and “grandkitties”.

Patricia was employed by W.T. Grant and McCrorys, before moving on to Callaway Typewriter for 17 years as the company’s bookkeeper. After leaving Callaway, Patricia went on to the Department of Social Services for the State of Maryland for 13 years before retiring to spend time with family.

For many years, Patricia and Ken could be found at the Polar Bar in Salisbury every morning before work and L&F Sub Shop at night, where they would sit and enjoy having coffee with friends. Patricia was also very active with her husband at the Salisbury Pony League baseball park helping with daily operations and then onto becoming management of the league. Patricia also loved her weekly lunches with the “family girls”.

Most importantly, Patricia was a loving and devoted wife. Pat loved spending her time with her husband. Pat and Ken met at a young age, got married and never looked back. She enjoyed all their time spent together, no matter what they were doing. Whether it would be playing cards with family, going to the horse races to play the slots, going for a long drive to “get out of the house” or just sitting and watching TV shows all day drinking coffee. There was nothing more important to Patricia than spending her days with her best friend. This was true from day one to her last days.

Patricia also loved having her children and her three grandchildren around her as much as possible. She was loved and cherished by her kids. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She was always so proud of them and the women they had become and she will always be watching over them. Patricia had a love for all of her “furry” grand babies as well, which she considered family, not just pets.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 4 at Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Road, Salisbury, MD 21804 with a viewing one hour prior in the funeral home.  Burial will be in Zion Cemetery, Eden.
