Michael Patrick Purcell was born May 7, 1963, the unknown twin to Patrick Michael Purcell. Mike passed away peacefully in his sleep Monday, March 27, 2023, after battling oral cancer for the past 10 years.

In his life Mike attended Genesee and Lewiston Schools then the Job Corps in Curlew, Wash. Mike worked for The Carnival Company traveling the PNW and was a truck driver for Lewis Clark Recyclers.

If you were to Google Mike Purcell you would find shenanigans, quick witted jokes, tie dye, horses, pool and Harleys. Mike loved spending time with his family even if they weren’t family by blood and he will be greatly missed by all of his family.

Mike is survived by his sisters, Sally Ann Dickinson, of Clarkston, Becky Rhoades, of Kingston, Wash., Tammy Byrd, of Lewiston and Bernie Allen, of Boardman, Ore.; and his twin, Patrick Purcell, of Lewiston.

He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert Purcell and Agnes Church Purcell; sister, Debra Purcell; brother Terry Purcell; as well as several nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 27, at Kiwanis Park in Lewiston.
