Peter Russell Vokac, 87, of Tucson passed away March 20th, 2023 at the Tucson Veterans Hospital. Born on October 28th 1935 in Rahway, New Jersey he and Susie (Myra) Vokac came to Tucson after their marriage in December of 1963. Susie passed away in April of 2018, and they both loved Tucson. Peter, both an engineer and inventor, was involved in the birth of digital computer imagery, which has contributed to the beautiful photography we now get of the universe. Raise a glass for Peter, for a life full of adventure and a mind full of ideas he shared with the world.
