Patsy J. Rendleman passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023, at the age of 81. She was born in Clay County, IL on November 25, 1941, the daughter of the late Glen and Mildred (Harper) Limes.

Patsy was a graduate of Serena High School with the class of 1959. She married her husband, Bobbie, in 1962 and settled in the Sheridan area later moving to Somonauk, where they raised their family. They were married 60 years. In their later years they resided in Herrin, IL. He proceeded her in death this past November 2022. Patsy worked at the Sheridan Correctional Center, Hoadley’s Hallmark Store in Sandwich, and volunteered at the Sandwich Hospital. Her devotion to her husband and family brought her great joy. She also enjoyed canning, ceramics, gardening, and especially spending time with her grandkids.

Patsy is survived by her daughters, Melanie (Dave) Siegfried of Fraser, CO and Rhonda (Todd) Larsen of Morris, IL. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Justin Larsen and Alyssa Larsen; sister, Karen Johnson of Morris; sister-in-law, Julie Limes of Montgomery, IL; nieces, Diane Espy of Lake-in-the-Woods, IL, Tammy Taylor of Morris and Michelle Limes of Montgomery, IL; nephew David Taylor; great nephews, Nicholas Espy and Sam Espy and numerous other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bobbie, her brother Ronnie, and her nephew Alan Johnson.

A visitation for Patsy will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 at UC Davis Callahan Funeral Home in Morris, IL from 4:00 to 6:30 PM with her celebration of life beginning at 6:30 PM. Patsy will be laid to rest on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Busby Cemetery in Goreville, IL at 1:00 PM.
