Opal Lee Miller

Opal L. Miller, 83, of Bean Station, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 26, 2023.  She worked at American Enka/BASF and retired from Universal Mfg. after 35 years of service.   She was preceded in death by her daughter, Reba (Miller) Lawson, as well as several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her sons, David Ray (Georgia) Miller; Roger Lee (April) Miller; grandchildren, Sandy (Charles) Stroud, Rhonda Jarnagin (Josh Warner), Justin David (Ashley) Miller, Courtney Blake (Kyle) Shute, Greisy Mendez, Brittany Nicole (Levi) Beckelhimer, Joshua Max Miller, and Lauren Nicole Miller; great-grandchildren, Harley (Dakota Gipson) Jarnagin, Charles Edward Stroud, Jr., Cannon, Rylan, Ilaria, Kylah, Stella, and Jasmine Grace; sister, Geneva Christie as well as several nieces, nephews, special friends, and neighbors, Lisa and Scotty Seal and special friend, Michael Edwards.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Thursday, March 30, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the service at 7:00pm.  Graveside services are planned for 11:00 am Friday, March 31, 2023, in Sunderland Cemetery.
